Digital cameras are greatly in use today to capture photos in various occasions like birthdays, wedding anniversaries, parties, etc. Some of the top digital camera brands are Nikon, Canon, Olympus, etc. and the main source for storing data on these digital cameras is camera card or so called memory card. Data loss from these camera memory cards is common due to many familiar and unfamiliar reasons. One of the most common reasons is accidental formatting either on Digital camera or when connected to system. When you want to backup your camera card data, normally you connect camera card to PC via card reader. After connecting you may encounter message like “Disk needs to be formatted” and in a hurry, you mistakenly formatted the card that erased all your precious data. Now you start regretting for formatting your camera card and want to know, how to recover files from formatted camera card?
Soon after formatting camera card, file records in file allocation table will be deleted and the space will be marked as free to store new data. But still data exists on same camera card that can be retrieved by using any professional card recovery software. To increase the chances of data recovery from camera card, you must stop using it to avoid overwriting of data. Because once it is overwritten with new data, data will be lost permanently from your camera card.
