Can I Recover Over Written Files?

As most of us know that, data recovery is possible when we lose, deleted files from the drive or even we can restore files that are corrupted or inaccessible for the users. But there are some restriction over data recovery, as all the software has some limit to retrieve files and under particular situation data can be recovered. Many of users wandering to know that, can they recover files which are over written?

We are here to make clear about this unanswered question. Files are save on the hard disk in a systematic way, so that they can be accessed quickly and also to maintain some uniformity in data storage. These files are which are present on the hard disk can be read from or written to hard disk by the component called read/write lens. It is a mechanical device that is used to fetch the data from the disk, it works on the command that is passed by the users to access the data from the drive.

But when it comes to data recovery of over written files, it is sad to inform that, recovery of over written files is not possible using data recovery tools. As all the data present on the hard disk is identified by the pointer with the unique identifier, when files are erased form the hard drive, the pointing identifier is still present on the pointing device. But once the data is over written with the new data on the same place, then it is not possible to recover by the recovery tools. So it is important to keep in mind that, whenever you loss data from the drive and want to recover it, then never copy new data to the hard drive.
