How to Fix Program Failed to Update Headers Error – Contact Number for Outlook?

Microsoft Outlook is one of the best application to handle day to day emails and any other task. Fix #1: Disable Antivirus

Fix #2: Install Service Pack

Ensure that you have installed all the updates released for Windows. To keep your Windows up to date, install the recent service pack. Once you get all the recent SP, open your Outlook.

Fix #3: Reconfigure your Firewall

Follow the steps mentioned below to reconfigure firewall:

  1. Open Run window and type drive letter and path of the firewall software.
  2. Navigate to the bin directory and type cpconfig and press ENTER
  3. When Check Point Configuration Tool window is displayed, select the tab in which you want to change the configuration and click OK.

After reconfiguring the firewall, go to Outlook and try to open it. Again got Program failed to update headers error? Then, you have to repair your PST file which might be the cause for the error.

Fix #3: Repair PST File

At times, you will get this error while opening Outlook due to corrupted Outlook data files.   • Go to C Drive and search for Scanpst in Program Files

  • Then, click on Start button
  • It scans and displays errors
  • Click on Repair button to fix the PST file
